Note: The format for IELTS test mentioned above is based on Academic module. In General module, the Reading section may have up to 5 passages instead of 3 passages and the Writing section has 1 Letter writing instead of pictogram description.
#The IELTS test is conducted in two days where the Speaking section is either conducted a day or two, before the other 3 sections or after.

  • Listening (40 minutes – including 10 minutes to transfer the answer)
  • Reading (60 minutes)

EvaluationAll sections are evaluated by human raters.
Listening SectionStudents have to answer questions based on academic lectures and conversations up to 4 people. The topics relate to academics and social issues.
Speaking SectionFace to face interview by human rater on familiar topics.
Reading Section3 Passages, 40 questions which can include MCQ, Fill in the blanks, Paragraph headings, Matching Information etc.
Writing Section1 pictogram description and 1 Essay
